Big Brother’s Hallie was rushed to hospital and underwent four hour long surgery after swallowing MAGNETS | The Sun

BIG Brother’s Hallie was once rushed to hospital and underwent four hour-long surgery after swallowing magents.

Youth worker Hallie, 18, is the youngest contestant on this year's show, but it turns out she isn't a total stranger to fame.

Revealing her historic health scare before entering the house, she said, “I once accidentally swallowed magnets and I was in the news because I had to get them surgically removed and everything.”

According to a story from 2018, the then-13-year-old was treated at a South London hospital after the worrying incident.

In yesterday's installment of the ITV2 show, Hallie revealed she's a transgender woman, telling housemates she "wasn't being authentic" before.

The teenager opened up in an emotional chat with her Big Brother co-stars around the dinner table.

She began: "Hey guys, I just have something to say. Yesterday I feel like I wasn’t being 100% authentic in myself.

"I thought I’d let everyone know I’m trans, if you didn’t know already.

"I just thought I’d make that loud and clear. I’m a trans woman if you didn’t know.”

Hallie’s fellow contestants rallied around her to give her a hug as Chanelle, 29, said: “Good for you. That’s very brave of you.”
