Channel 4 host red-faced as he makes arm comment to Paralympian with one hand
A Channel 4 presenter has been left red-faced after making an awkward comment to a Paralympic champion.
Tim Lovejoy was co-hosting Sunday Brunch on Sunday (August 27), alongside former T4 presenter Miquita Oliver, who was standing in for usual co-host Simon Rimmer.
The pair were also joined by guests including comedian Jamali Maddix, Steps singer Claire Richards and Paralympic gold-medallist Lauren Steadman.

Whilst cooking a meal for the panel, Tim and Miquita were chatting with Lauren about her cooking techniques.
Tim then asked Lauren: "Did you get a brown paper bag and do that," before miming spinning with his hands.
Lauren then looked at Tim with a dead-pan expression and quipped back: "I've only got one hand."
The entire studio then proceeded to burst out in fits of laughter as host Tim looked beside himself.
Lovejoy apologised profusely to Lauren for the comment: "Sorry. I'm so sorry Lauren, I'm so sorry, I'm so embarrassed."
But Steadman had no problem with the remark, joking with Tim about several times throughout the rest of the show.
Even after the broadcast ended, Lauren took to Twitter to show her love for Tim: "I am dying inside still," she wrote.
Taking to social media, viewers were quick to share in Tim's despair.
One used posted that the faux pas on the Channel 4 morning show was a "quality blooper".
Another sympathised with Tim, writing: "Bless him x."
Tim was joined by Miquita after Simon announced he would be taking a break from the show.
It came as Simon's father passed away, which meant that Simon would be focusing on his family and loved ones.
Simon's dad had been battling a long-term illness and had been receiving end-of-life care with the NHS.
Appearing on fellow Channel 4 show Steph's Packed Lunch, Rimmer thanked the staff who had helped with his dad's palliative care.
Speaking on the show, he said: "Yeah, unfortunately, my dad passed away last Thursday.
"I've always, always loved the NHS but every single person that was involved at the end of my dad's life."
He also thanked those who offered the entire family support, branding them "amazing" and "supportive".
"Just a massive thank you, thank you, thank you, to everybody at Arrowe Park Hospital who really just made my dad's final hours incredible. They really, really did."
