I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! bosses work on making the perfect line-up for each series, but sometimes things are thrown into chaos.
Early exits have often taken place from I'm A Celeb campmates whether its through their own decisions or things out of their control. Health battles sparking decisions from ITV or just leaving because they miss their family have been a common occurrence in recent years.
The 2023 series saw concern sparked for multiple celebs who fans feared would walk, including Jamie Lynn Spears and Nella Rose – but ultimately Grace Dent was the one who went packing. The food critic sparked concern over the past few days, and it has since been confirmed that she's left the jungle.

So as another celebrity heads home early, we've looked at some of the most famous early exits over the years.
Grace Dent
Grace had been appearing pale and withdrawn on Sunday night's show which sparked a lot of concern from people online. After repeatedly making comments about wanting to go home, she eventually opted to exit.
After being picked by the public to do the latest trial, Down The Tubes, it appeared to be the last straw for Grace. A show spokesperson confirmed: "Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds. She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike."
Olivia Attwood
Olivia Attwood quickly became a favourite on I'm A Celeb after skydiving out of a helicopter on her first day. She was forced to leave the show on medical grounds after mere hours of actually being in the jungle.
At the time a statement confirmed Olivia's exit and stated the star was "heartbroken" and had dreamed of doing the show for years. It was confirmed shortly after her exit that blood tests showed she had low levels of sodium and potassium, resulting in ITV staff sending her to the hospital.
She was then not allowed to return to the jungle after being given the all-clear.
Richard Madeley
The Good Morning Britain host was forced to leave the Wales version of I'm A Celebrity for a hospital visit. He admitted he was dehydrated and woke up in the middle of the night and didn't know where he was.
He said on GMB: "I could hardly string a sentence together. As it turned out, it was harmless, there was nothing wrong. I went to the hospital, had all the tests you can imagine… got a 100% clean bill of health and they were happy for me to go back in…"
However unfortunately, because of Covid-19, Madeley had broken the bubble by going to hospital and he was unable to return.
Janice Dickinson
On the pre-recorded I'm A Celebrity… South Africa, Janice Dickinson had to leave the show after an on-set accident. The TV star tripped over in camp when she was walking to the long drop during the night.
She was treated by the on-site medical team but was taken to the hospital shortly after as a precaution. Bosses made the decision that it was better for her to exit the series in order to recover.
Gemma Collins
Gemma Collins quit I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! just three days after entering the jungle. She famously fumed "People who murder get treated better than this. That's the truth. Even a murder gets fed three times a day."
After struggling to cope with life in the jungle, Gemma ultimately quit the series, with a spokesman saying shortly after: "We're sorry to see Gemma go but respect her decision and wish her well."
Spencer Matthews
Spencer Matthews left I'm A Celebrity after a row over steroids. Shortly after he left the jungle he said at Brisbane airport: "I screwed up and have some explaining to do.
"Shortly after I arrived in Australia I told the production team I was taking a steroid-based medication that began some weeks ago. It was in preparation for a charity boxing match which, ironically, never took place. Vanity, I suppose, had been the reason. I had intended to come off the pills gradually but there was no time to do this before the jungle.
"My admission to the production team I was still taking these pills led to the conclusion it would be unsafe for me to stay, a decision I found extremely hard to stomach. "I pushed back but ultimately the show’s duty of care prevailed and bags had to be packed."
Danniella Westbrook
The former EastEnders star walked out of I'm A Celebrity in 2003 after begging viewers at home to not vote her to stay. After her co-star Sian Lloyd was voted to leave following Danniella's public plea, she decided to quit.
She walked to the bush telegraph and burst into tears saying she needed to get out and see her family. They persuaded her to return but she opted to leave again and headed home with her husband and kids.
Jack Maynard
Jack had been hit by controversy after resurfaced homophobic and racist tweets caused outrage online. At the time, a statement confirmed he was leaving the jungle so he could respond to the claims.
Ant and Dec read the statement on the show and added: "Since it is only fair that everyone should be aware of any allegations made against them and should also have the right to defend themselves, it was agreed that it would be better to bring him out of the show."
Shortly after his exit, a statement from his spokesperson said: "Jack is ashamed of these tweets, many were deleted a long time ago.
"He would never use that language now and realises this kind of retaliatory, inflammatory, insulting language is completely unacceptable."
I'm A Celeb will continue tonight on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm.
