It's all change at TalkTV as the daytime schedule is going to receive a whole new look.

Jeremy Kyle was known for presenting the 7pm slot just before Piers Morgan takes to the airwaves with his award-winning show, Piers Morgan Uncensored.

But in a sensational new announcement, the station has revealed a huge shake-up as they prepare to launch a whole new way to start the day.

Jeremy, 58, will take to the airwaves every Monday through to Thursday from 6am through to 9:30am with a brand new breakfast show titled Talk Today.

He will host the brand new offering alongside former Coronation Street actress Nicola Thorpe, who has been a regular face on Sharon Osbourne's show on the network titled, The Talk.

Commenting on the change, Jeremy said: "I began my career on breakfast shows, so Talk Today feels like coming home.

"There's something very special about being in the slot that sets the news agenda for the day. I’m hugely excited to be working with Nicola.

"We have become great pals off camera, so it'll be fantastic to bring that friendship to the show. We’ll talk with the audience about the issues that affect the whole country rather than only the few. And, of course, we'll have some fun."

Whilst Nicola described her new role as a "dream come true," as she admitted that previous appearing alongside the likes of TalkRadio regular Kevin O'Sullivan and former GMTV star Penny Smith has 'challenged [her] opinions'.

The actress commented: "I’m looking forward to hearing from our viewers all over the UK about what matters most to them and holding politicians to account. It’s important to both me and Jeremy that everyone gets a voice."

As a result former This Morning commentator Julia Hartley-Brewer will be moving to present her own new self-titled show from 1pm until 3pm.

Commenting on her own move, Julia said: "After five and a half brilliant years hosting breakfast on Talk, I'm so excited to take on a fresh challenge with my brand new show – and to finally get a proper night's sleep!

"I plan to make afternoons on TalkTV a must-watch destination with a host of interesting guests, hot topics and great debates. And, of course, I will continue to give my honest, straight-talking, common sense."

Completing the move is Rosanna Lockwood, who recently filled in for Piers Morgan on his 'Uncensored' show over the summer.
