Siva Kaneswaran breaks down as he reads emotional letter about Tom Parker
Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins: Series 5 trailer
Siva Kaneswaran breaks down over the death of Tom Parker during tonight’s episode of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
During Sunday’s installment of the Channel 4 reality show, The Wanted star Siva is tasked with writing a letter to his loved ones, imagining he will never see them again.
The challenge triggered memories of his late bandmate Tom Parker, who died from brain cancer aged 33 last March.
Taking to Instagram, Siva has shared a very emotional first look at the moment he has to read out his letter to his Celebrity SAS co-stars and struggles to get his words out as he thinks about Tom.
“When I found out my bandmate Tom had brain cancer, it was heartbreaking. It was like time stood still”, Siva said to the camera.

He then adds: “It’s hard to talk about Tom. Thinking about such wonderful memories, and then I’m here and he’s not here.”
Reading the letter, Dancing on Ice semi-finalist Siva says: “Find me in your favourite song”, and pauses as he’s heard getting emotional.
Writing beside the Instagram video clip, the Glad You Came singer penned: “Tonight is an emotional one. I had to write a letter to home if I didn’t survive.
“This was filmed last year so my family and @tomparkerofficial were on my mind a lot. Watch at 9pm on @channel4 @sas_whodareswins.”
