Strictly fans all say the same thing as they demand to see more of pro dancer

Strictly Come Dancing fans are begging for Neil Jones to become a permanent dancer after he strutted his stuff alongside judge Shirley Ballas.

Sharing a special moment on her Instagram, Shirley posted a short video where she and Neil could be seen dancing together to the hit song, Your Number by Ayo Jay. But after seeing the pair move in unison, fans wanted to see more of professional dancer, Neil.

In the comment section, one fan wrote: "Would be lovely for Neil to have a celebrity partner for 2024." Aother fan echoed: "Fabulous! Love Neil and hope he gets a celeb partner for next series."

A third fan chimed: "More of this please. Also, please give Neil a partner – such a valuable resource in dancing."

Meanwhile a fourth added: "A bit longer, looked great. Think Neil should be a main dancer again."

Neil, 41, joined Strictly in 2016 and during his seven years on the hit series, he's been partnered with a celebrity contestant only twice. He first competed in series 17, when he was paired with former professional footballer Alex Scott.

This was then followed by EastEnders actress Nina Wadia in 2021. But unfortunately, Nina became the first celeb to leave the show during that year.

Neil previously opened up on what it's like having a partner on the show and how he feels when he doesn't. He previously told Radio Times: "I would honestly say to you, I love when I have a partner, and I love when I don’t have a partner.

"When you don't have a partner, a lot of people think you just sit at home. But you really don't. On Strictly, they make sure you've got plenty to do."

The Strictly star also explained that you are often assisting other professional dancers with their acts when you don't have a partner of your own. Away from the show, Neil's personal life has been rather busy.

Neil and his fiancee Chyna Mills welcomed their first daughter, Havana together last month. Announcing the happy news on her social media platform, Chyna, 24, who previously appeared on ITV's London posted a sweet snap of her baby's feet, with the caption: "Our hearts are so full."

After seeing her sweet post, fans congratulated the couple in the comment section. One follower wrote: "Omgggg she’s here congrats." While another penned: "Massive congratulations."
