Strictly’s Adam Thomas admits there’s rivalry between him and brother Ryan
Adam Thomas insists he must smash it on Strictly as there's "competition" between him and his famous brothers Ryan and Scott.
The 35-year-old Emmerdale star is not the only celeb in his family, nor is he the first to do a big reality show, as his brother Scott did Love Island and Corrie star Ryan won Celebrity Big Brother back in 2018.
So the perfect way to get one up over his siblings would be for Adam to master the dancefloor scoop the Glitterball Trophy on this year's series of the BBC dancing show.

Asked if his brothers will be in the Strictly audience, Adam told Daily Star and other press: "Yeah my brothers will be there, definitely. They’re really excited. My kids especially, they’re really excited about me doing the show.
"Between me and my brothers, we’ve pretty much done every reality show, but I’ve got to try and do good in this one because when I did the jungle I came third."
Strictly is not Adam's first reality TV rodeo as he placed third on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! back in 2016, the year when Gogglebox favourite Scarlett Moffatt was crowned Jungle Queen.

"My brother did Love Island and came third, my big brother (Ryan) did Big Brother and he came first so there’s a bit of competition so I’ve got to try and prove a point. Fingers crossed."
Adam recently revealed he was struggling to walk before his first Strictly rehearsals, after being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.
He told Daily Star and other press: "A couple of weeks ago I couldn't really walk or really do much, so to get to this point where I'm at now, I'm just so happy. I just want to get on the dancefloor, start dancing, moving. I'm just happy to be here and be able to do it."
He admitted he is still struggling and in pain but insists swimming helps him "so much" with the condition.
"Swimming helps me so much with my arthritis, he said.
"I mean as much as it kills me getting my top off and going for a swim, I know it’s helping me and I know it’s also helping me deal with the issues I’ve got with me and my body. Which is a good thing!"
Adam shares son Teddy, nine, and daughter Elsie, five, with wife Caroline.
