EASTENDERS fans tuning into their next dose of the popular soap will be left disappointed as it isn't on tonight (December 19, 2023).
The BBC One soap is being replaced by something else, and the next episode will air another time.
Why isn't EastEnders on tonight?
EastEnders will not be shown tonight (December 19, 2023).
BBC One viewers have grown accustomed to catching up with the long running soap every Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm.
Instead tonight's episode has been postponed to make way for an important event,

EastEnders will instead air tonight's episode, TOMORROW (December 20, 2023) at 7:30pm on BBC One.
You will not be able to watch it before this time on the iPlayer.
This means fans will have to wait another day before finding out what's ahead for Albert Square residents.

While a week in Walford usually ends on a Thursday, the BBC has agreed to make an exception on this occasion, allowing soap fans to get their full fix.
EastEnders will also be airing on Friday, December 22, 2023.
The BBC One soap is leading up to a murder at the Queen, this Christmas Day.
Either Linda Carter, Stacey Slater, Kathy Beale, Sharon Watts, Denise Fox or Suki Panesar will be responsible for the killing of one Walford resident.
A variety of faces have been in the frame to meet a grisly end including Ravi Gulati, Jack Branning and Dean Wicks.
However, a chilling clue in the latest episode has led many to speculate that Nish Panesar will be the one to die – and it will be wife Suki and Stacey in the frame.
It came after Stacey furiously said: "I just want to do whatever is going to hurt [Nish] the most."
