Harry and Meghan have their job titles left BLANK on VIP guest list
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have their job titles left BLANK on VIP guest list as they join some of Hollywood’s most famous faces to watch Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami play in Los Angeles
- Everyone on the guest list had a job title except for Meghan and Harry
- The former working royals were seen watching Lionel Messi play for Inter Miami
- They watched the game at a major football game in Los Angeles
As former working royals, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan have clearly struggled to find their new roles in public life.
And a published VIP guest list for a big football match in Los Angeles on Sunday appears to suggest no-one else has any idea about what they do either….apart from being famous as ex-working royals, that is.
Other stars – from Hollywood icons such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Will Ferrell to sporting legends including basketball’s Magic Johnson and LeBron James – helpfully had a description with their names on the Los Angeles Football Club official press release.
But Harry and Meghan were the only two out of 39 ‘notable attendees’ without any indication of what they do.
Also present were Gerard Butler, Tom Holland, Toby Maguire, Ed Norton, Selena Gomez and Owen Wilson, all helpfully listed as actors, despite being household names globally.

Meghan Markle did not have a job title listed, despite being a celebrated actor before she married Harry
Dozens of major Hollywood names had their job titles listed, but Harry and Meghan had nothing by their names

Musicians included the UK’s own Liam Gallagher as well as Nas and Rage Against the Machine.
But Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (the Duchess of Sussex’s maiden name) were listed as, well, just that – with a blank against their names.
In the end his wife was absent, but Harry attended the celebrity-packed LAFC game against David Beckham’s Inter Miami.
He watched the players, including Inter Miami’s new star Lionel Messi, from the directors’ box. The prince, who also attended a Beyonce concert in LA with his wife at the weekend, was never known as a football fan when he lived in the UK.
He supported Arsenal but admitted preferring rugby. However pictures from Sunday show him enthusiastically taking in the match, perhaps buoyed by a reminder of home.
Harry is due to make a rare trip back to the UK on Thursday to attend the annual WellChild Awards in London, a charity of which he remains patron.
There are no plans for him to meet his father or brother William, who will be working despite Friday marking the first anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s death.
