The pilot and passenger, aged 67 and 37, both died after their small propeller plane crashed at the Börgönd air show near Budapest in Hungary.
Three people in a car near the crash site suffered serious burns and were rushed to hospital, police said.
A little boy on the ground was also injured.
According to reports, the US Army T-28 Trojan – built in 1951 – made a vertical descent before crashing and exploding.
