A HUSBAND and wife in their fifties have been found dead from gunshot wounds in a rural Leicestershire village.
Cops were called to an address in Saddington, Leicestershire, at 11.27am on Friday after reports that a man and a woman had been found dead.
The pair have now been named as Richard Harrison, 59, and his wife Rachel Harrison, 54.
A post-mortem examination has now been carried out and confirmed that both died from gunshot injuries.
Cops are continuing to investigate the deaths, but are not looking for anyone else.
Detective Inspector David Greenhalgh said: "This is a deeply tragic incident.

"Officers are continuing to support the family during this extremely difficult time.
"We will continue to carry out enquiries to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident.
"But I can confirm we do not believe anyone else was involved in the incident.
"A file will be prepared for HM Coroner."
