Lady Amelia Windsor has revealed she shares the crusade of her royal relatives, King Charles and Prince William, as she discusses how humans must act now to save the planet.
However, the 27-year-old beauty who is the granddaughter of the Duke of Kent said that cutting her own carbon footprint is tricky while she lives in London – admitting she’s ‘terrified’ to cycle in the Big Smoke and has to walk everywhere instead.
The model, who cut the blue ribbon on the London to Monaco annual charity cycle this weekend, revealed the cyclists are ‘brave’ to tackle a thousand kilometers cross seven countries in just eight days in support of Blue Marine Foundation.
Speaking to HOLA! she said: ‘Although I grew up cycling in Cambridge, where it’s easier to get around, London terrifies me.’
The Blue Marine Foundation was created in 2010 to protect vital marine habitats and fight overfishing, which is one of the world’s worst environmental problems.

Amelia, who is the charity’s ambassador, added: ‘It is a great charity doing crucial work.
‘In addition to developing sustainable fishing models, it protects kelp forests and has managed to ban bottom trawling in the Dogger Bank of the North Sea.’
Elsewhere the beauty spoke about her love for nature, saying she enjoys walks around London and getting distracted by beautiful flowers and trees.
However she admitted it is ‘a shame’ that people can’t swim in many UK coastlines due to ‘dumped sewage’.
Last year the model swapped her designer frocks for a pair of wellies to pick up litter during a Thames clean-up.
She admitted she could of made herself a ‘new suit’ out of all the sweaters and rubbish she found littered along the shoreline.
The Tatler cover girl grabbed cleaning gloves, a litter-picking device and a bin bag in a bid to rid the riverside of rubbish.
Famously dubbed ‘the most beautiful member of the royal family’, Amelia used her status to raise awareness of non-biodegradable wet wipes clogging up London’s sewage systems.

She was joined by a team of litter pickers and Natassia Nicolao, the founder of Conserving Beauty, who has invented the first entirely dissolving face wipes.
Sustainability is a priority for the royal model, who previously collaborated with the high-end brand Pretty Ballerinas on a collection made purely from recycled garments.
She is also an ambassador for the organisation ‘No More Plastic’ and the Thames project is close to Amelia’s heart, as she resides in the capital in a flat she shares with her 30-year-old sister Marina.
She previously revealed her love of secondhand clothing saying it’s all she ‘wore in university’.
She said she wants to use her platform to push sustainability as she spoke about her passion for sustainable fashion and her excitement thrifting in Portobello market.
The beauty, who is signed to Storm Model Management, appeared on the cover of Hello Fashion this week posing up a storm in a chic black blazer.

Speaking to Hello Fashion she said: ‘That literally is all I wore, it’s the excitement of it – and it became a bit of an obsession.
‘I just love the fact that you never know what you’re going to find. Portobello market I love, it has such a great atmosphere and all the sellers have known each other for years. And now, obviously, you have online as well, with Depop and Vestiaire.’
The beauty admitted she also loves to support independent designers who make clothes with ‘good-quality fabrics.’
She admitted that during the the Covid lockdowns she took a couple of online courses to learn more about sustainability, and started volunteering for a gardening collective after realising the mental health benefits.
