BBC EastEnders Phil Mitchell ruins Christmas wedding after exposing Keanu
EastEnders airs special flashforward scene for Christmas 2023
It looks as though there’s drama ahead for EastEnders’ Sharon Watts (played by Letitia Dean) as Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) about to get exposed.
Over the past few months, fans of the BBC soap watched Keanu reach desperate measures to stop Sharon leaving the country with their young son Albie.
Staging a fake kidnapping, things soon got out of hand and it resulted in them demanding a ransom fee.
Desperate to get her son back, Sharon borrowed £50,000 from Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) in order to pay it.
As Sharon remains none the wiser that her partner is responsible for the kidnapping, Keanu’s mum Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) has been spending the ransom cash.

When a car incident happens which results in Karen paying for the damages behind Mitch Baker’s (Roger Griffiths) back, she may have let her guard down.

She’s incredulous and suggests that if Karen has got the money, as he believes, then it will be hidden closer to home.
Heading to 23b to investigate, he’s turned away by Felix Baker (Matthew Morrison) and decides to sneakily send Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) over.
It isn’t long before the youngster discovers the money Phil has been looking for hidden underneath Karen’s bed.
Elsewhere, Sharon excitedly announces that she and Keanu will hold their wedding reception at The Vic on Christmas Day.
However, their bubble of happiness soon bursts when Phil arrives and reveals Karen and Keanu staged Albie’s kidnap for money.
Will Sharon choose to believe Phil as he presents the evidence Tommy has managed to find? Or will she turn a blind eye not wanting to believe the hard truth?
The revelation comes ahead of the dramatic Christmas Day special which was shown in a fast-forward episode earlier this year.
As six well-known Walford women were in The Vic surrounding a dead body, fans have been eager to know who has fallen victim at their hands.
EastEnders continues Monday to Thursday on BBC One from 7.30pm.
