NCIS: Sydney: CBS Releases Trailer For Surprise Fall Series

CBS’ fall 2023 schedule unveiled in May featured NCIS: Hawai’i in the Monday 10 PM slot, following the mothership NCIS series. The ongoing Hollywood strikes changed broadcast networks’ plans but CBS will still have an NCIS original set on an island in the Monday 10 PM hour this fall — the network announced yesterday that the upcoming Paramount+ Australia series NCIS: Sydney will air on CBS starting Nov. 13.

This morning, the network released a trailer for NCIS: Sydney, which features some familiar images for franchise fans — the signature NCIS uniforms and action on the water. There is also a lot of new scenery, with signature Australian vistas, including the famous Sydney Harbor, and a kangaroo. (You can watch the trailer below.)

Created and executive produced by Morgan O’Neill, NCIS: Sydney sees rising international tensions in the Indo-Pacific. The brilliant and eclectic team of U.S. NCIS Agents and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) are grafted into a multi-national task force, to keep naval crimes in check, in the most contested patch of ocean on the planet.

American Olivia Swann leads the NCIS part of the team as NCIS Special Agent Michelle Mackey, starring alongside Aussie Todd Lasance as her 2IC AFP counterpart, Sergeant Jim “JD” Dempsey. They are joined by Sean Sagar as NCIS Special Agent, DeShawn Jackson, Tuuli Narkle as AFP Liaison Officer, Constable Evie Cooper; Mavournee Hazel as AFP Forensic Scientist, Bluebird ‘Blue’ Gleeson and William McInnes as AFP Forensic Pathologist, Dr Roy Penrose.

A local international co-production for CBS Studios, NCIS: Sydney is produced by Endemol Shine Australia for CBS Studios and Paramount Australia, and distributed outside Australia by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
