MAFS Shona looks downcast as ex-husband Brad moves on with new girlfriend after axe

Married At First Sight UK star Shona Manderson has been pictured looking downcast, just days after it was revealed that her ‘husband’Brad Skelly has reportedly moved on from their relationship.

Performing arts teacher Shona, 31, appeared on the newest series of E4 show in a bid to find true love after saying ‘I do’ to 28 year old Brad. However, the pair were axed from the show following Brad’s “controlling and coercive” behaviour.

Speaking of the pair’s exit, a Channel 4 spokesperson told OK! : “It was agreed alongside experts Paul, Mel and Charlene that the intensive Married at First Sight environment was not working for the couple and it was the right time to leave the experiment.”

But away from the show, in new pictures Shona has been spotted cutting a casual figure while running errands following her departure from the social experiment.

In the photos, the TV personality could be seen wearing an oversized navy blue hoodie and shorts which she paired with some white and grey trainers and white socks.

To finish off the relaxed look, Shona wore her hair scraped back into a ponytail as she clutched her phone and keys in her hand.

The pictures come after it was reported that Shona and Brad had called time on their relationship, with it being alleged that Brad had moved on from his bride.

“It wasn't long after Brad was removed from Married At First Sight UK that he and Shona went their separate ways,” a source toldMailOnline. “It was clear from the process that their relationship was never going to work.”

In the wake of the split, Brad has given his side of the story and has said that he doesn't believe he was “in love” while on the show.

“I most definitely can confirm that I wasn't in love, but at that time, it was a strong feeling of lust that I got confused with,” he toldThe Mirror in a new interview.

Meanwhile,Shona herself has shared a lengthy statement about their relationship on her Instagram page and recently posted an Instagram story in which she addressed viewers for their support.

“I’ve had nothing but support on here thank you [heart emoji] I’ve had a few messages sending me love and encouragement to walk away from Bradley as if it is happening right now,” she wrote.

“We filmed months ago and unfortunately at the time I couldn’t fully see it for what it was. But I do now.”
